Dragons are some of the noblest and most powerful creatures in the known realm. They are long-lived, have seen ages come and go, as they slumber.  Dragons, naturally tend to hoard their riches, and if lucky, they are open to communication, when they are not slumbering.
 
There are quite a few that reside in the realm, and they have learned to live peacefully with their inhabitants and more importantly with each other.  I myself have been fortunate enough to befriend one such noble dragon. Mailleinth is a great wyrm and she and I have over the years spent many long nights in good conversation about the history of the realms, and the intricacies of the arcane craft.
 
It is during such talks, that we have discussed the use of dragon’s claws in the art, and unfortunately how one goes about to retrieve it. It is thus agreed that in return, for arcane lore, I would be able to procure one of her discarded claws for use in studies for me and my colleagues, in accordance with the Fae Association. Thus, providing ample opportunity for my apprentices to collect it and bring it to you. Corked and sealed in a vial, to preserve its potency. Sufficient for all magical potions, magical studies, and spell components.
