It is an extension of one's own ability to bring forth the magic from energy and thought, binding it to their will and bringing it into reality. No such item has ever identified one as a master of the arcane arts more than a wand. As each caster is a unique individual, so is the wand that they wield. So much in fact, that a person could potentially identify a caster, just from the wand, without the caster even being present. The various woods are used to capture and weave the energy differently. The way it feels in the caster's hand is essential as well, for it should feel like it is a part of you. The knots, swirls, burls, and grain, are also individual to each wand, like fingerprints. It is said that the caster can feel the wand as if it calls to them, and when held it feels like an extension of oneself, not just an accessory. Just as the wood is part of the wand, so is the core. If a wand is so blessed to have a core, each caster will find that a particular core will call to them. Such a connection will enhance their attunement to the energies of magic.

Every wand we craft is a one-of-a-kind piece of work, crafted by hand knowing that no two wands will ever be the same, just like those that would wield them. We do not use a pattern or a jig in its creation, we instead let the wood itself determine how it shall be shaped and crafted. Our wands are made from a wide variety of domestic and exotic woods, ethically sourced, and sanded to a polish smooth finish. They are then finished with natural teak oil. This allows the wielder to feel the natural grain of the wood, as they take hold of their wand.

Wand Cores
Pegasus Hair - This core is the most lighthearted of the wand cores. It provides an enhancement to the schools of magick dealing with the elemental plane of air. This core can be naturally stubborn and prone to working when it wishes. It will take one with a strong calm will, that can convince the core that it can be trusted to be used wisely.
Hippogriff Hair – This core is one of the most loyal cores and is drawn to those with a strong will and a natural leader. It often produces enhanced reaction speed in spell casting. A caster will feel the call to protect the weak and aid those in danger. This core is a mortal enemy to those powers of the dark arts.
Griffon Hair – This core like the hippogriff core is one that seeks out those with the heart of a lion and the courage of an eagle. It provides an enhancement to the schools of magick dealing with protection spells. It is naturally drawn to those seeking to protect the weak.
Unicorn Hair – This core does not generally produce the strongest wands. Wands that have unicorn hair in them are the least flamboyant, decreasing their susceptibility to fluctuations and blockages. Advantages of this core are that it usually produces the most consistent magic and that it is the most faithful to its owner of the cores. A wand with a core of unicorn hair is harder to turn to the Dark Arts, a factor that many witches and wizards alike.
Nymph hair - This core is the most whimsical of the cores. It provides an enhancement to the schools of magick dealing with illusions. This core can be naturally playful and prone to making mischief when it feels neglected. It will take one with a great amount of patience to win over this core, but once won over, this wand becomes loyal and protective. It abhors dark magic, and those using it to harm innocent people or creatures and will cease to work against its wielder if asked to do so.
Fae Hair – This core is also one that is lighthearted and whimsical. It provides an enhancement to the schools of magick dealing with the elemental plane of earth. This core can be inclined to waves of fluctuations and power surges, which requires a strong, soothing spirit to tame it and keep it balanced. This wand is known to be non-judgmental in the casters, inclining to lead to the caster’s natural inclination to light or dark arts.
Fire Dragon Whisker – This core is one that has a chance to bend the will of its caster. It provides a strong enhancement to the schools of magick dealing with the elemental plane of fire. This core is naturally arrogant and strong-willed. It will try and drive the caster towards greater acts of power and craves the adoration from those acts. Those drawn to the fire dragon core are also drawn to the taste of power as well and usually find themselves inclined to the dark arts.
Ice Dragon Whisker – This core seems to be withdrawn and cool to its wielder's touch. It abhors warm climates and those that are reckless and act on the spur of the moment. It prefers those that take their time to think things through, no matter how long it takes. It provides an enhancement to the schools of elemental planes of Ice. Casters who are drawn to this core, prefer to not meddle in the day-to-day activities of others, preferring to spend their time, studying ancient texts and exploring ancient ruins.
Gold Dragon Whisker - This core is the most loyal of the cores, finding those with a pure heart and a noble soul quite attractive. It provides an enhancement to the schools of magick dealing with healing and light. It prefers a stoic and humble leader, one that finds knowledge useful and wisdom a strength. This core will lean heavily toward the light arts, and it is extremely rare to be turned to the dark arts.
Basilisk Quill – This core is one that prefers one that prefers to work in the shadows and the realm of stealth. It has a taste for those interested in intrigue and plot. It provides a strong enhancement to the schools of magick dealing with stealth and shadows. It prefers a wielder that likes to move behind the scenes, scheming and plotting. This core tends to feed the ego of its wielder, and it will require one with the great mental strength to shut out its dark whispers.
Mermaid Tears – This core is one that calls to those that are drawn to the lure of the sea, the taste of adventure, and the lure of curiosity. It provides a strong enhancement to the schools of magick dealing with scrying and weather. It enjoys those that have a bold heart and take joy in life by trying new things and taking risks.
Phoenix Feather – This core is one of the rarest of cores, it comes from an elegant yet detached creature that is seen as one of the most exotic in the wizarding world. Phoenix feather wands are capable of the greatest range of magic, although this means that sometimes they will act of their own accord. Wands with this expensive material as their core are the pickiest of all the cores in choosing the most suitable owner, and allegiance is often hard-won.
Sirin Feather – This core is one that is very fickle of its wielder, it tends to seek those that enjoy the finer things in life. It ensures that it will be well cared for by its wielder. This core provides enhancements to the schools of magick dealing with charms and divination. Though not naturally drawn to the dark arts it will go along that path if it finds that it is the way to get what it wants.
Chimera Teeth – This core much like the Fire Dragon Core is one that revels in the power of destruction and chaos. This core is drawn to cruelty and destruction. It seeks those that revel in control and power. It is naturally drawn to the dark arts and as such, it is found to be popular among the schools that follow its philosophy. It provides an enhancement to the schools of magick dealing with chaos.
Hydra Teeth – This core is one that calls to those that are drawn to the calls of the sea and the power that it holds in its raw form. It provides a strong enhancement to the schools of magick dealing with the elemental plane of water. It enjoys those that have a bold heart and a fierce spirit to not be bound by rules. This core is drawn neither to the light or dark arts, but rather to strengthen its wielder who, like itself, tends to be one that is free-spirited and bold.
Dragon Egg Shell - This core is one that calls to the immense power of the elements of Earth, Air, Fire, and Water, after all those are the realms that the great wyrms rule in their eyes... It is a very strong core that tends to bring out the innate personalities of its wielder. Calling to them, providing strength, courage, and a strong resolve. Which if said wizard, does not have a strong will, could allow itself to be lost in the desires for gold, hoarding of knowledge, and a viewpoint that they are supreme above all else. This core provides an enhancement to spells of magical resistance, and those of the spheres of the elements.
Winter Sprite Claw - This core is one that calls to those that are alone, lost, or withdrawn from all those around them. They embrace the call of isolation and prefer to work in the solitude of cold climates, away from the wilds of abundant life. This core provides a strong enhancement to cold-based magicks and is weaker to the schools of magick concerning fire. It prefers a wizard that is cool, reserved, and one not to take quick action, but when the wielder is forced to act, they will unleash a force that is harsh, swift. Unyielding as the bite of a cold arctic storm, the crushing power of the avalanche, and will not be satisfied until the very force against the wielder is snuffed out and replaced with cold darkness.
