In the Ancient Highland Mountains, packs of Wyverns are hidden among the peaks and valleys. They are related to the species known as dragons, but unlike dragons, they are much smaller varying in length from 15 to 35 feet, weighing around a ton, and covered in brown or grey scales. Their eyes are red or orange, and their jaws are filled with many rows of razor-sharp teeth. Unlike their larger cousins, they only have hind limbs, instead of a set of four. Their tales are exceedingly long compromising almost half the length of their bodies, ending in a thick cartilage knot, with a stinger, much like a scorpion. They are extremely aggressive, not greatly intelligent, and will attack anything smaller than them, including their own species.

In addition to the physical weapons, and poison stinger, they also can weep a liquid from glands behind their eyes. This liquid can cause paralysis in its intended target, allowing enough time for the wyvern to stab its prey with its stinger.

By coating bait with a sleep substance, we can with no harm to the wyvern to milk these glands. Thus, providing ample opportunity to collect it and bring it to you. Corked and sealed in a vial, to preserve its potency. Sufficient for all magical potions, magical studies, and spell components.
